Providence Ministries recently reached out to area businesses asking for their help to restock their shelves which have been emptied due to the increased need associated with COVID -19.

Providence Ministries, in partnership with the Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative, Holyoke Police Department, Holyoke Fire Department, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, Hope Worldwide and the Holyoke Public School held a Drive Thru Food Drive on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Holyoke Credit Union and our employees were ready to help!

 HCU delivered a carload of non-perishable food items that they collected during the month of October to the Stop & Shop on Lincoln Street in Holyoke, where volunteers were busily working collecting donations from those generous enough to give.

 “It’s a pleasure to help such a worthy organization as Providence Ministries and we are grateful to our employees who gave so generously.” said Sharon Carter, Holyoke Branch Manager.
