2024 Pioneer Valley Chapter Scholarship Winners

The Pioneer Valley Chapter of the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) has awarded its scholarships for 2024. Holyoke Credit Union’s, Ava Tellier of Southampton and Matthew DiLullo of Feeding Hills were two of the winners of a $2,000 scholarship from the CCUA.
Ava, daughter of Mark and Jill Tellier, of Southampton recently graduated from Holyoke High School, where she was a member of the varsity field hockey and tennis teams. Ava was also a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. Ava had dual enrollment at Holyoke Community College where she made the Dean’s List. She plans to attend Dartmouth College in the fall majoring in Biology.
Among her many extracurricular activities, Ava volunteered at Jericho Bureau for Exceptional Children and Adults. She was also the founder and President of Holyoke Grows, a group that addresses food insecurity and its impact on education. Ava was a team member on As Schools Match Wits, an academic quiz show.
Matthew, the son of Michael and Maria DiLullo of Feeding Hills, recently graduated from Agawam High School. Matthew plans to attend Merrimack College to pursue his education in Financial Management. While in high school, Matthew was a member of the Varsity Football team. He was also a mentor for Agawam Youth Football. Matthew also volunteered at local elementary schools. He did a PE internship at one of the local elementary schools as well.
