CONGRATULATIONS!

The Pioneer Valley Chapter of the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) has awarded its scholarships for 2022. Holyoke Credit Union’s, Gretchen Gustafson of Suffield, CT was one of the winners of a $2,000 scholarship from the CCUA.

Gretchen, daughter of Wayne and Cheryl Gustafson, is a senior at Suffield High School, where she is graduating at the top of her class. She plans to attend the University of Connecticut in the fall majoring in Mechanical Engineering with plans to pursue a career in the STEM field.

Some of Gretchen’s extracurricular activities include being a member of the Student Council, Suffield High Girls Swim Team, the Drama Club and the Suffield High School Jazz Band. She is a member of the World Language Honor Society and the National Honor Society. Among her many volunteer activities, she has been a Volunteer Camp Counselor for the Suffield Parks and Rec, a Suffield Road Race volunteer and participated in prepping chromebooks with the Suffield High SWAT team, to name only a few.  Gretchen is also a peer tutor and was instrumental in designing the program.
