Proposal to Expand Field of Membership

On June 17, 2024 the Board of Directors of your credit union approved a proposition to expand the credit union’s field of membership in order to serve more residents within the state of Massachusetts and Connecticut.  You are encouraged to attend a special meeting of your credit union at Holyoke Credit Union, 490 Westfield Road, Holyoke on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2:30pm.      

Purpose of the Meeting

Holyoke Credit Union’s current field of membership covers persons who live, work, or attend school in Hampden and Hampshire Counties.  It also includes organizations and family members.

This meeting is being called to vote on the expansion of Holyoke Credit Union’s field of membership to provide services in Franklin, Berkshire and Worcester Counties in Massachusetts and Hartford County in Connecticut.

Holyoke Credit Union also proposes to update and adjust its by-laws to reflect the addition of Franklin, Berkshire and Worcester counties in Massachusetts and Hartford County in Connecticut.

Further, the member vote to approve the expansion of the credit union’s field of membership will require approval from the Massachusetts Commissioner of Banks.
