Holyoke Credit Union has teamed up with the MassHousing Finance Agency to bring the most affordable mortgage options to our income-eligible members. MassHousing has been serving low-to-moderate-income homebuyers and homeowners for more than 30 years.

To qualify for a MassHousing loan through Holyoke Credit Union, you must:

  • Meet income and loan limits, which vary by city and town
  • Be creditworthy
  • Buy or refinance a single-family home or condominium, or a 2-, 3- or 4-family property

MassHousing loans offer:

  • Affordable fixed interest rates
  • Low down payment options
  • MI Plus™ payment protection, which helps pay your mortgage loan for up to six months if you lose your job
  • In-house servicing by MassHousing, which means any questions you may have on your mortgage will be answered by local MassHousing staff
